Central Place Hotel contributes to environmental conservation by having power saving light sockets installed in all guest rooms to ensure electricity use is minimised and only used when necessary.

Rooms were designed with energy and conservation in mind with lights being eco friendly and used wisely and efficiently without being over done. The light bulbs used are monitored to ensure unnecessary high wattage bulbs are avoided. The use of large wall to wall mirrors and large windows also help minimise the need for extra lighting.

Together with the option of keeping towels and bed linen for another day, this reduces water and energy consumption from unnecessary washing of clean linen on a daily basis.
